The Cross, Coddington (NGS Open Gardens) - July 2014

The Cross, Coddington (NGS Open Gardens) - July 2014In the Spring and Summer the hidden village of Coddington near Ledbury opens it’s gardens to the public as part of the National Gardens Scheme. Local couple Meg and Brian Taylor will be opening their 1-acre informal country garden on Sunday 6th July between 2-5 in the afternoon. Willow and Wire Sculptor Victoria Westaway will be showing her garden sculptures around this beautiful garden, with its generous mixed borders lavishly planted with shrubs, roses, perennials and bulbs.

There is a pleasant walk through paddock which leads to a tranquil path through 5 acres of mature woodland. The garden has a wonderful wildlife pond and native flower patch and there are lovely views of the Malvern Hills.

In addition to the gardens, plant sales and delicious homemade teas, Victoria will also be demonstrating her work and is always keen to discuss her new projects and techniques. For more information see visit the NGS website
