Blog update April 2024!

Hi all, well this blog really hasn’t been updated, embarrassingly the last time was in 2021! So much has happened in the last few years. Masses of collaborative projects, new CIC’s , producing lots of community projects and events that celebrate Historic High Streets as well as lots of private commissions and experiments. The main (very exciting) news is I’m finally renovating my studio space whoop whoop!! It’s only taken 7 years… all good things come to those who wait. Pic shows me with (only half) the bags of cindercrete which we helped dig up in the back studio. Not gonna lie this building has been so difficult to renovate, far harder and more expensive than we imagined. Our apartment upstairs was bad enough back in 2017 ( think the moment in Grand Designs where one of the couple breaks down in tears and exhaustion…on repeat ) We’ve always been dreading getting the damp workshop spaces sorted so we’re so lucky we found the perfect team who create amazing buildings often cut into the side of rock faces. I’ll be able to run workshops in a warm, dry, light flooded ( rather than water flooded ) studio without tripping over extension leads or wearing every jumper I own. The fantastic builders are working their tanking magic as I type, hence finally getting round to write a Blog post! Check back in to find out more!
