It’s been a strange, busy, exciting and whirlwind of a year and I’ve only just got round to posting again. Delayed projects have come to fruition, new connections made and cultural programmes designed to enrich local towns are finally underway.

Back in June Vik worked on a community engagement project in Cullompton to ask local residents what sort of creative activity they would like to take part in. This was part of the Cullompton Heritage Action Zone which is bringing arts and culture to the Historic High Street. Vik had a great response, she worked with local people to weave hearts with ideas tags which were attached to a giant willow heart in the Walronds Garden just off Cullompton’s Fore Street. The ideas were rich and varied and will now feed into the creative programme with a range of free workshops taking place at the Hayridge Library over the next 3 years.
